Can they replace the native app I'm using on my device?
Both of the new versions support most of the features you are likely need for your day-to-day Telegram usage.
Why are there two versions?
Because we believe in internal competition. Both new apps work equally well on mobile and desktop devices.
Can I report issues or suggest new features?
Sure! Your feedback is greatly appreciated. But before you get going, please check these cards: WebK card and WebA card. They contain lists of all the major features that are not yet supported or not fully implemented in the new apps.
Please don't report anything that's already mentioned in the missing feature cards and always check existing issues before creating a new one:
and? The value is way bigger than other apps because for example 1. more time spent in the app, 2. it has way more possibilities and bigger future, 3. "Telegram" as a company has way better name than for example Facebook, if Telegram releases a new service, like a VPN, it will instantly get millions of new users, but what do you think would happen if Facebook made their own VPN service (when the company is literally hated even by their own users). Plus Telegram has had the biggest growth in numbers (about 200% or more last year I think) so it is certainly gonna reach #1 one day.
There should only be one universal app. There should be competition about number of new features created and bugs solved. Then, it will reach the top ASAP.
