✈️ Telegram's current blocking system, while commendable in its intent, requires improvement to effectively protect user privacy. Inspiration can be drawn from Instagram's robust blocking system, which offers a potential model for enhancing user safety and environmental consciousness within Telegram. 📸 Instagram's blocking system effectively balances user anonymity with personal boundary protection. Blocked accounts become inaccessible and invisible to the blocker, and the system automatically captures future accounts created by the blocked individual, minimizing unwanted interactions. 🕵️♂️ This approach prioritizes anonymity by presenting blocked individuals with a generalized profile like «John Smith and other related accounts», concealing the specific identities and actions of those who initiated the block. ♻️ Implementing a similar system in Telegram could address the issue of block circumvention, particularly prevalent in group chats, channels, and private messages. The current system's vulnerability to bypass through new SIM cards or fake numbers fosters harassment and waste. 🤖 Telegram's existing infrastructure, with its capacity for sophisticated data analysis via AI, suggests the feasibility of implementing this enhanced blocking mechanism. Identifying and aggregating accounts from the same client server could be a potential approach. 🌟 Adopting an Instagram-like blocking system would significantly improve Telegram's user protection capabilities, offering a robust defense against unwanted interactions while upholding privacy principles. This enhancement has the potential to greatly improve the user experience within the Telegram ecosystem.
📍📋 Brief description: 🛂 Telegram should upgrade its blocking system:
• When blocking or restricting a particular user, all present multiple accounts should inherit the restrictions. Regardless of where the blocking is being performed: channel, private chat, group chat;
• Blocking preview text should contain «Do you want to block <user> and other accounts they might potentially have and create in the future?»;
• The performer of blocking action should not be informed of the exact secondary accounts being blocked. This also implies that nicknames of secondary accounts should not be listed in Recent Actions, if the action has been taken in a group or a channel;
• Telegram servers already do record data regarding multiple accounts being authorized under the same client setup — there is no doubt in that. So Blocking 2.0 should simply get use of that;
• The blacklisted individual should not be able to open or search accounts that have restricted the access to their page — they instead they be displayed as nonexistent or Deleted Accounts;
• This suggestion must be integrated on one or another stage of Telegram, [but most preferably in the closest time possible], because attacks and intervention, stalking performed by users easily getting a plethora of alternative accounts puts people in jeopardy of social hunting.
Adding AI to analyse user data to track down users with virtual numbers is a privacy nightmare imo. Far worse than what could happen if someone sent you a message with another number. You just have to block newer accounts imo. Also if you don't have username, then people cannot find you afaik.
You have approached the study of my article extremely carelessly. If you are unable to perceive a well-structured and clearly presented text, then refrain from ridiculous and unconstructive criticism.
My article NOWHERE proposes the idea of using AI to determine virtual numbers. This practice is already used (**IN THIS PRESENT TIME**) in Telegram, and **my article in no way concerns the control of virtual numbers**.
You are an ignorant and illiterate person if you don’t know that Telegram has already numerously regulated the use of AI for analyzing cloud chats. It is also mentioned by many reputable portals. So, **YES, THE AI IS ALREADY INVOLVED TO ANALYZE YOUR MESSAGES** — your reckless decorum does not in any way correlate with the concept of my suggestion or the content of the article; my article does **NOT** address the present issues of Telegram's Privacy Policy. Instead, it suggests integration of additional mechanisms that comply with the present policy. The most significant issue of the probable ones would only be requirement for the clarification.
Telegram already acquires a huge amount of information under different circumstances.
And my proposal, I repeat (!), **IN NO WAY** suggests increasing the volume of information collected.
In addition, stop confusing the concepts of AI and algorithms, mechanisms, and automation.
Given the intelligence gathering already involved, the community's anxiety about my proposal is simply irrational and ridiculous. This is baseless paranoia.
I respectfully request you to delete your irrelevant comment.
It does not violate user's privacy, because possible accounts are not publicized. And your comments is a violation of people's right to be surrounded by intelligent people and not cretins.

My account got flagged multiple times, it's like there's no freedom of speech. When some people hate you for no reason and report you, your account gets limited. Is this even fair? ... I have never reported anyone i hated, but they report and my account gets limited for no reason. I always get a reason of spam and i never spammed anywhere. I can't afford telegram premium to unban my account early. My account is still limited :C

Deleted Account
If they keep on limiting my account for no reason, i will no longer invite people to telegram, i would rather invite them to guilded instead 😌
Parsast
That would be useful for getting rid of scammers that uses alt account or some annoying people
