In public groups, access to the list of members should not be allowed, nor should profile photos be clickable (to prevent access to profiles), unless the user is part of the group.
In fact it would go even further:
In addition to the above, any public group / channel to which a user is not joined, will remain in read mode, only being allowed to view and copy (tap on the message > copy) and nothing else, especially prevent forwarding.
Someone will say "if the group is public, everything is public", but I do not agree at all.
Being public and having privacy should not be incompatible in any case.
Apart from the above, it is urgent to improve the way in which two strangers can interact, for example, using a service chat with requests of the type "this user wants to talk to you, accept?"
That would prevent 90% of spam messages, a majority of which are SCAM and NSFW.

Denying privacy must have a very strong argument in my opinion.
The auto-archive feature seems like a very bad solution to the problem, as it causes new problems like losing legitimate chats for weeks / months.
Nobody checks the archived section daily.
