Title:
New Permission: Owner-Approval Required for Media/Sensitive Content to Prevent Subversive Channel Bans
Proposed by: Mohammed AlBalazi
Description:
High-member channels and groups on Telegram are frequently targeted by malicious attacks. Saboteurs or rogue administrators often intentionally post content that violates Telegram’s Terms of Service (such as pornography, illegal substances, or harmful media) solely to trigger an automated or permanent ban on the channel due to personal rivalry with the owner.
The Solution / Proposed Feature:
We propose introducing a specialized permission setting for Channels and Groups: "Owner Approval for Media/Sensitive Posts."
How it works: When enabled, any media (images, videos, or files) uploaded by administrators/moderators will not go public instantly. Instead, it goes into a "Pending Review" queue that only the Channel Owner can approve or reject.
Accountability: If illegal content is approved and published, Telegram can strictly hold the Owner accountable, knowing that this was explicitly approved by them, justifying a permanent ban without the need for complex appeals.
Protection: This completely immunizes honest creators from sabotage attacks via compromised admin accounts.
Benefits for Telegram:
Drastically reduces false-positive bans and the volume of support tickets/appeals from owners claiming their channels were sabotaged.
Clearer accountability: If a channel violates rules, Telegram can confidently take action, knowing it was the owner's direct decision.

I urge Telegram to implement this idea and suggestion to protect its channels from malicious attacks by vandals on the Telegram platform, their rapid spread, and their destruction of channel content.
