After Android 16 update, Telegram has not been working properly and keeps loading each chat for more than 30 seconds and the widget turns black and unresponsive every time I open the app and close it.
Also when I receive a message, I get a notification and after checking the message, it's as if I haven't opened that chat at all and I have to close the app and re-open the app.
I can't even upload a video of the issue, which is frustrating
Steps to reproduce
Open chat
Loading
Wait
Send a message
Close chat
Remove the widget
Add the widget again
Device info
Telegram Android 11.12.0 (59979), Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, 16 (36)
Looks like the problem is gone 12.6.4. The widget works fine now and conversations load immediately.
However, I have noticed a new issue. When I open the app and immediately close it using the system back button, in about 75% cases it works like expected. But sometimes the back button stops doing anything, it won't close the app.
Then, if I open any conversation and then press the back button expecting to go back to the list, the whole app closes instead. (By closing I mean I get back to home screen, not that the app crashes.)
Very rarely, when rapidly opening and closing the app, I made the entire app completely unresponsive. But I'm not able to reproduce it at the moment.
I did no reinstall recently. I have just updated the app today from the store. Yes, I have deleted the widget when I discovered it's been causing the problems. I have re-added the widget a while ago today when you asked me.
