That wasn't my point. I rather meant: If it were allowed to react with _any_ emoji, a message might get reactions 🧑, 🧑🏻, 🧑🏼, 🧑🏽, 🧑🏾 and 🧑🏿. My suggestion is now to group those reactions together and display only one of those variants. Which emoji variant to choose for that is another question - personally I would in fact choose the yellow one.

Admins deleted that one, and told me to list emojis I want. This is a misunderstanding, that card was really distinct, I want to be able to choose from *all* of the emojis. Just like in Signal, Matrix, Slack, Mattermost,... And no need for those over-the-top animations, that's just raising the effort unnecessarily. That's a spontaneous list of additional emojis I like to use:
🤪🤔😬🤡🤯🤨🙃🥳🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
But as I said, every social group has their own favorites, and should be able to use those.

After one week into the update, i've become sick of the yellow colour. This colour is in fact sickening.

Thank you Telegram for having added more contrast in 8.4.3 (2531). The more blue numerals are better contrasting with the yellow. It solved the “yellow” problem.

The mission is to get all the votes in a publication, if there are 8 equals with 5 votes each, it is not the same as one with 40 votes, the more votes in it, much more interest from the Telegram team. I say this because we have seen it with some previous publications.

😁 ≠ 😂 — "Smiling" and "Laughing" are two different reactions.

In the previous betas Telegram replaced the laughing reaction in order to avoid confusion with the crying reaction. The new emoji Telegram chose is fundamentally wrong, because when someone make a joke I laugh, I don't smile. It's awkward to smile only.
We all answer "Hahaha", we don't just stand there smiling.

I suggest to replace 😁 with 😆

Please bring an option where the user decides for himself whether it will be displayed or not. I hate these reaction emojis.

When someone decides to use “🤮” or “💩” as a reaction, most of the time the intention is to signal some degree of repulsiveness, but it does not need to be so tightly related to the physiology of our gastrointestinal tracts.

An equivalent of a swear word would suffice.

Hence my suggestion here is adding “🤬” to the list of available reactions.
