A message info screen with more information about the 'read' status of messages:
When the message was read in private chats.
Which group members read the message and at what time.
Use cases
Knowing that you can count on the fact that a certain group member read the message.
Potential issues
Privacy issues. Could be partially – but not fully – mitigated by tying visibility to the Last Seen privacy settings of the user.
Telegram groups can get up to 200,000 members which makes tracking read statuses more complicated and would potenitially add significant overhead while the use cases for this are relatively rare.
Workarounds
You can currently rely on a person's Last Seen status (if they are sharing it with you) to get a general idea of when they've read your messages – and whether they've read messages in your common groups.
If it's important to know when a certain message gets read in a group, you could ask your recipients to acknowledge they've read it (for example, with an animated sticker).
Also used to it in WA. To solve the problem and get rid of the negative aspects, I offer the following solutions: 1) Create a separate channel/group type (ideal) 2) See the status ONLY for participants who were added by the administrators

I definitely need this feature on private groups.. Is the only reason I can't move about 10 groups from WA
The only workaround I found is to send the message as the description/title of a poll setting the vote as public unticking anonimous vote

Telegram is better than whatsapp in everything except for this feature. We really need it for private groups with respect to the privacy settings.
I'm also waiting for this feature, it is really useful for work and business chats. Probably Skype has good UX in this area: you can see user pic (or several and text +N, when there is too many users read a message) under a message last read by the user(s), you can tap on the list of user pics to see full list, this feature is unavailable for large groups (above 20 users or something).
