In Telegram X, messages in the conversation message list are not consistently exposed to TalkBack with meaningful accessible information.
When navigating through a conversation with TalkBack, some message items or their focusable elements do not announce enough information to identify the message. Depending on the message, the user may be unable to reliably determine its content or who sent it.
This makes navigating and reading conversations difficult for blind users.
Message items should expose their visible content through Android accessibility APIs so that TalkBack can identify and read each message.
Steps to reproduce
Enable TalkBack on Android.2. Open Telegram X and sign in.
Open a conversation containing several messages.
Navigate through the message list using TalkBack.
Observe what TalkBack announces for each message.
Expected result
Each message item should expose meaningful information to TalkBack.
At minimum, TalkBack should be able to announce the message content and, where relevant, the sender information needed to identify the message.
A blind user should be able to navigate through a conversation and understand each message before activating any related controls.
