Telegram should allow to recover the 2FA password after being kicked out of your devices. I don't know if it was a hack or something else but I made this account because my other account received a messaged stating that a device on Singapore with the exact same specifications as mine such as iOS version, phone model and Telegram version activated 2FA. At first I tried kicking out but it didn't show any other sessions active beside the ones I had. After a while tho it kicked me out of my own phone. I thought it could be hacked or something but my boyfriend who was the only one I set to see last time online and other things said nothing has changed, and the last time the account was active was when I aid I had lost access. Even the login email and phone number are still the same. So please let users find other ways to change or recover the 2FA password, even if it takes a while to confirm everything that they are the owners of the account.
This is exactly the situation I am facing. My account was suddenly logged out from all devices while I still control the registered phone number and receive login OTPs. My previously working 2FA password is now rejected, and I have no active session or recovery email. A secure recovery process with ownership verification and a waiting period would help legitimate owners recover their existing accounts without compromising security.
