We need this feature in the system, it will be useful to avoid unwanted messages in the private.
With the implementation of this feature, we will be able to avoid the SPAM of scammers who find us in groups and in the global search.
Telegram and focused on security, we need this privacy feature.
SIM and phonebook contacts added by groups will be appreciated.
For any contact to occur, all you need to do is create an official messaging bot, like a kind of e-mail, which can receive messages from strangers and notify the person in the profile with the privacy option enabled that the stranger has sent a message wanting contact.
The idea is to create a kind of inhibition for possible abuses against users.
Those who wish to use the close people feature cannot use this function as well as the opposite.
This seems so unnecessary. How is a bot notifying you someone requests contact any different from a spammer sending you a message? At least with the latter, you can report and block the spammer thereby helping the community. I suggest you remove your username to prevent unwanted contact. Also, this feature has nothing to do with privacy.
The intention of this feature is to inhibit the practice of spam and intrusions into the private sector.
Even if the person does not have a username, they can be disturbed in private, just for someone to see their profile in a group even if they are not part of it, which is what happens in practice.
A user configuring so that no contacts can write in their private and doing this through notifications bot would reduce spam intrusions by 100%, as the user would simply ignore the notifications to release the private from unauthorized strangers in the bot.

One detail, this feature would be optional.
The user could choose what he thinks best for him.
Total privacy and security.
Better than having the private one invaded even without having a public name, and having to block and report the intruder.

While I get what you're saying but that's the thing, you still have to ignore unwanted notifications. The spams aren't being reduced. They're just consolidated into a single place, a place which can potentially also include genuine non-spam pms. It's best to spend the two seconds to report and block. Telegram making it this fast to report and block is clearly its way of dealing with spammers. As for spammers going into groups and messaging the users privately, are they really spammers or just people looking to chat?
