Implementing a lightweight web-feed mirror for public channels in restricted regions (Temporary solution)
In regions where the Telegram app faces connection instability or throttling (like Russia currently), many users lose access to vital information in public channels.
I suggest implementing or supporting a lightweight web-based "Discovery Feed" as a temporary bridge. As a proof of concept, I have developed orutin.ru — a TikTok-style web interface that mirrors public channel content.
Key benefits of this approach:
No VPN required: It works through standard web protocols, allowing users in Russia to stay connected to the Telegram ecosystem even when the main app is throttled.Audience Retention: It prevents users from migrating to other platforms during periods of technical instability.Scalability: While my current focus is on the Russian segment, this solution can be easily expanded to other restricted regions like Iran.
This serves as a perfect "warm-up" tool for users until the main app's connectivity issues are resolved. Once the restrictions are lifted and the app works perfectly again, this web mirror will have already served its purpose in keeping the community together.
I am a developer and I am ready to provide any technical details on how this mirror operates or help integrate such a concept into the official web ecosystem.
