I'm an Android Framework developer for an OEM and a issue was raised for us regarding Telegram app for Android regarding foldable (book-style) devices.
This issue is seen on Pixel 9 Pro Fold and others as well, when Telegram is launched on "unfold mode" and then you put device on "tent mode" or fold the device and rotate it to landscape orientation, the UI seems to get wrong metrics. This is observed as the right portion of the screen, where chat conversation is displayed in "unfold mode" gets static and the only portion which gets updates (displays chats and get transitions) is the left portion of the screen.
Could you please help on get this issue addressed?
Thanks!
Steps to reproduce
Rotation must be applied, so enabling auto-rotate is the easiest way to reproduce this, however clicking on the rotate button when device is rotated also causes the reproduction
Unfold device
Open Telegram
Open a chat conversation (optional, the issue reproduces either way)
Close device to "tent mode" or to "fold mode" in landscape
Observe the issue
