Ever since the last update on Windows 7 (6.4 x64), a new bug has occurred whereby anything "pasted" gets "pasted" twice. The simplest example is copying a URL and pasting it into a message (pictured). More complicated errors occur when copy/pasting an image.
This is the first time I've seen this particular error in Windows 7 after a number of years of use through many versions. I shall report if this new bug goes away with the next update. It is only occurring in Telegram, and ONLY since the last update--and is happening on two DIFFERENT installations (one "portable" and one not).
Steps to reproduce
Reproduction is tricky because it does not KEEP happening. It happens often enough to be disruptive and noticeable as a bug. I have not determined steps that guarantee the "double-pasting" will occur.

Image pasting: AFTER adding a caption, and sending, the posting is made to the chat or group, and then, one sees a SECOND window waiting offering a caption to be added. One may, of course, cancel this.
If one then tries to paste a second time, this defect does not occur.

This behavior too, first appeared with this latest update.

I just upgraded to 6.4.1 x64, so we'll see if that fixes it. The first paste I did after the update did not screw up. I'll report back when I'm sure, because it was intermittent and I cannot be sure yet.

And I just confirmed that the SAME pasting into a separate 6.4 x64 installation is STILL exhibiting the bug, so perhaps it was corrected...continuing to test for it.

I shall update that installation too, as soon as Telegram notifies me to do so.
If one then tries to paste a second time, this defect does not occur.
