Currently, Telegram group topics organize discussions into separate subchats, which is great for keeping conversations categorized.
However, inside each topic, all replies appear in a single continuous flow — there’s no way to reply to a specific message through a dedicated thread, like in channel comments.
Proposal:
Allow threaded discussions inside group topics, similar to the comment threads in channels.
Each message inside a topic could open its own comment thread, keeping replies focused and organized.
Example:
Inside a topic (e.g. #Features or #Ideas), a user posts something like “Problem with verification table.”
Others could open a comment thread under that message to discuss it in detail, instead of posting multiple replies directly into the topic’s main feed.
Benefits:
Better organization — each sub-discussion stays contained in its own thread.
Less clutter — the main topic remains clean and readable.
Easier navigation — members can quickly find or follow specific discussions.
Consistency — same behavior as channel comments, unified across Telegram.
Summary:
Please add threaded replies inside group topics, just like comment threads in channels.
This would make Telegram topics a much more powerful and structured tool for collaboration, communities, and project discussions.
