When I try to forward a message to other users on my Samsung Fold 5 (main unfolded screen), the "Send" button appears partially covered by the bottom taskbar (also known as the navigation bar on Fold 5).
If I tap precisely on the top half of the "Send" button, the message is forwarded successfully. But if I accidentally tap the lower half of the button (which is overlapped by the taskbar), the Android system interprets it as a "Back" button press, and the forwarding window closes unexpectedly.
This causes confusion, especially for users who are not aware of this behavior—they often think the forward action failed and have to repeat it.
Suggested fix: When Telegram is running on the main screen of the Samsung Fold 5 in unfolded mode, it should adjust the layout to account for the persistent bottom taskbar so that critical UI elements like the "Send" button are not obstructed.
Best regards,
Aleksey
Steps to reproduce
Open Telegram on a Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 (main unfolded screen).
Go to any group chat or channel and select any message.
Tap "Forward" and choose one or more recipients.
On the final screen, observe the "Send" button positioned partially behind the bottom taskbar (navigation bar).
Tap the lower half of the "Send" button.
Instead of sending the message, the app closes the forwarding screen and returns to the previous screen (as if the "Back" button was pressed).
