I am sometimes in large groups e.g my University group consists of 1000+ members and a lot of messages are coming in every minute that are just small talk and nothing relevant. However sometimes messages get pinned or you read important information by accident or you can ask a question yourself and get some answers quickly.
But most of the time, you mute the group with many members and you don't want that group to count forward to "unread messages", so essentially you are just a "watcher" of the group, and you are not interested in the unread count, since there is a lot happening.
I'd like a feature that extends the mute feature which allows me to completely ignore the group / channel as follows:
It is basically a completely silent channel, that you can just use for reading when you feel like and you can interact as well, in which case for a few minutes this channel will become active again or maybe until you mute it again completely after having interacted with it.
Thanks
