Videos can still be watched in Picture-In-Picture mode
Devices running iOS 14, 15, 16 or 17 are affected
I’m unable to play any video after release of the latest update. I have cleared cache, deleted and reinstalled app, restarted phone, and change settings and still can’t play. I can hear but can’t watch the video. This is on an iPhone 8 with up to date OS version.
Steps to reproduce
Playing any video in any chat or channel. It’s not a saved video but one in channel that is posted. Everything was fine until the latest update 11.5 I believe
It seems to me that people have already lost hope so much because of the constant bug that they don't even post comments or give likes here. It's so depressing!
You're right, but now it's still taking a long time to fix this problem. If last time everything was solved on the server side, now they didn't even write the status of Fix-coming.

Same issue appears again, Telegram 11.7, iOS 15.8.3. It's a pity there is no way to rollback to the previous version in appstore
