In the latest Telegram update, a timestamp now shows when a message was edited. However, there's a bug: when someone reacts to a message, the timestamp changes to reflect the moment the reaction was added. This issue occurs both in private messages and public chats.
Example: a person sends a message and edits it later, so the message timestamp becomes Time A, and the edit timestamp changes to Time B. If someone else reacts to this message, say, a few minutes later, the edit timestamp will then change to Time C.
Steps to reproduce
Open any private chat or public group.
Send a message (let's call this Message A).
Edit Message A after a short while (this sets an initial edit timestamp).
Have another user react to Message A after a few minutes.
Observe that the edit timestamp of Message A changes to the time when the reaction was added instead of retaining the original edit time.
Expected behavior: The edit timestamp should remain as the time of the actual edit, not update when reactions are added.
