There is a delay in the delivery of Android push notifications. Notifications are not received when the application is not in use. Occasionally, upon opening Telegram, all notifications are displayed simultaneously. This behavior is also observed for calls, which do not produce an audible ring and instead display a missed call notification.
The caller observes the message "waiting..." as if the user is offline.
It has been verified that battery optimization, background data restrictions, and memory usage are not causing Telegram to enter a sleep state.
This issue is not limited to me but has also been experienced by my colleagues who are using different devices. Instances have occurred where I have been unable to reach them due to the absence of notification alerts. They said they didn't get any push notification until they open telegram.
Steps to reproduce
I've noticed that the issue seems to happen when I don't open Telegram for a while.
I have the same problem. The notifications have been delayed since the last update. When I make a call, I only get a message about a ‘missed call’. I have to end the process and only then can I call back. It also seems to happen after a long time.
