GIFs do not work when sent by external android keyboards such as Gboard, and Samsung Keyboard. If I send it using the GIF button of the telegram app it works fine, but if I use the GIF button of my keyboard this sends in the GIF format but the animation does not work. I asked my friend @apiii648 if she also faced the same issue but reported something different. In her case, no matter which method she uses to send the GIF the first half of the animation works and then stuck. Upon closing and reopening the chat, it again shows the half animation well then stuck.
I point to be noted, that when I send the GIF, the animation issue is happing only to me. The other person can see it as it is.

The apk file is made by the Telegram development team and there is no danger at all.
The app will be added to the one you already have (the stable one), so you can easily use the test version here just for testing and then uninstall it.
Yes, the issue got fixed. Thanks. But probably introduced a new problem. If I open a chat from the notification. It does not show the (premium) emoji of the user until I click her name to reveal the profile menu. then press back.
