On iPadOS, there is no cursor support like iMessage. Swiping left and right using two fingers on the trackpad does not reveal any extra options or swipe from a chat back to the chat list. This is especially apparent when Telegram is running in split view or slide over and there is not room for both the chat and the chats list on the same screen.
Steps to reproduce
Swipe left or right over a chat with two fingers using a trackpad.
Current result
Nothing.
Expected Result
The gesture is correctly applied
Side effect
No way to reach the archived chats section when is hidden, scrolling down the main chat list.
Device info
Telegram iOS 7.4.2 (19883), iPad Pro 11 inch (4th gen), 14.4
The lacking support for cursor is a big problem. Some elements are also not clickable with the cursor and hotkey support for a physical keyboard is minimal at best.

Also sometimes interactive UI elements just stop responding to anything but touch (meaning sometimes it doesn’t respond to Apple Pencil or Magic Keyboard’s trackpad). Trackpad support is awful and slows basic tasks down — because of the lack of support for proper keyboard shortcuts like arrow up to edit your last message, or two finger tap on a trackpad to trigger a context menu — this renders iPad with Magic Keyboard utterly unusable when working with the Telegram iOS app. The problem exists for so long and nobody cares to fix it.

Any updates on this issue? It’s been over a year and support hasn’t been added.
