I just lodged another suggestion, but one that had different themes for each Group, Channel and possibly Folder. Have an original theme but at least the option to change it per area.

I agree with this, but I think the background of a chat should be the pic of whatever the person you're texting set his/her default background pic to be. This makes things more dynamic, social and makes it easier to distinguish one chat from another.

I think distinguishing one chat from another is very important. I want to be able to recognize people by their favorite color in addition to their name or profile picture.
Recognizing people by their favorite color… -Would prevent chat accidents. -Would make searching for friends faster. -Would help people distinctively distinguish one friend from another or one chat from another. I have seen and heard of many chat accidents, where people thought that they were chatting on a different group chat or to someone else and sent some embarrassing messages. This feature would help prevent that from happening. When searching for a contact you could search for their name and if there is more than one result, you just look for their favorite color. It makes things faster and more efficient. And when you scroll through your list of chats, you could look for their favorite color first, then for their name, which helps when you are in a hurry. I think Group chats should have the color of most of the chat participant’s favorite colors and made optional for the group chat starter. if two colors are tied, though, (two majority colors), then make the chat starter’s favorite color or what the chat starter wants the group chat color to be. When the favorite color of a friend changes please do not make the messages before the change of favorite color change to the new color, so that we can know when our friend’s favorite color changed and not get confused.
