Don't bump it, get everyone you know to vote for it, there's no other way to get telegram to notice this other than if it's on the top of the issue list for months on end, only THEN will they buckle and give a response

This "feature" is insufferable. Literally no one has asked for it. Why add the option to drag the packs around to your liking if the app won't respect that order anyway?!

What is the purpose of letting us re-order our sticker packs in the Settings menu if you're just going to undo that ordering process and sort by most recently used?

Some packs have a single sticker that I like to use but using it means it bumps the entire sticker pack all the way to the front of the list. I then have to go BACK into the Settings menu to drag the pack to where it belongs.

How is the current behaviour of self-reordering packs more desirable than respecting a users own decision to order their packs a certain way? Why have the feature to manually order packs if you're not going to respect it?

Can I get an actual answer instead of just feeling like we're all just screaming into the void? You've provided no actual reasons why this behaviour is MORE desirable than the setting that is already implemented.

As a user with poor object permanence, high spatial sensitivity, and hundreds of stickers across dozens of packs, this feature makes them impossible to find. I had them arranged with my most frequently used packs at the top, in places I remember where to look for them, but now whenever I use any of them, that system breaks and I have to spend time putting them all back where they belong.
Please either revert this change, or give us a settings option that disables it. I want my sticker packs to stay where I put them.

The reason why my friends and I chose Telegram years ago was how wonderful all these sticker packs are. However, when you introduced auto-ordering of stickers, I started to hate using stickers completely.

I really loved all these different stickers and have a lot of packs with stickers for all sorts of chats. Most of them were used once every few month, but they were perfect for that one moment and really improved the quality of my chats. Some selected packs were always on top, I excessively used them during the day. Thanks to auto-ordering of stickers, this has changed, now all these rarely used packs are sorted before the commonly used ones and I can't even voice how much I hate it. I don't use any stickers other than a few selected from my most recent ones anymore because I don't want to waste my time searching for a sticker pack Telegram has put in a spot where I would NEVER expect it to be. The order in the most recent section changes with every use too, but the section is so small, it's manageable.

I really wish I could use more than the 15 most used stickers again but I don't want to waste my time and brain cells searching for stickers. Using stickers feels awful now, I really miss the consistency before the introduction of auto-ordering. Considering all these awesome sticker packs were the biggest reason to use Telegram, I also wrote a 1 star review in Google Play store. Without stickers, Telegram isn't better than any other boring messenger anymore to me sadly.

Please give us an option to disable this absolute garbage "feature". It completely ruins Sticker packs for me and I hate it! Give me my stickers back!

Little addition: I want to make absolutely sure that I as the user want to choose the order of my packs without any part of the messenger overruling my decision. I don't want a better algorithm and I don't want you to do it less often. I want to specify the order and then it stays like this FOREVER until I change it. That is how it's been before and that is the best user experience possible.

Please respect that and allow us to completely toggle off the "help" of the messenger when it comes to the sticker pack order.
