Didn't you look at video which I attached in my recent comment? There are too many "Default" types in notifications settings. In which one to change "Lock screen notifications"? Even if to change one of them as you say, it doesn't help. Because this list of "Default" types in settings keeps updating all the time and old ones are deleting.

It doesn't depend from platform... For example, in my second phone (Realme Pro 6) it is the same problem with Telegram again. 🤦🏻 I'd like to draw your attention that, only Telegram's notifications list in system settings have this issue. All other apps notifications settings list is normal. In addition I attached screenshot from WhatsApp's notifications list, how it should be look in Telegram also.

For your information,
"Lockscreen notifications"
is different and separate from
"turn screen ON when receiving notifications"

You can have notifications on the lockscreen without having the screen turn ON by itsef.
See the 3rd screenshot "Ambient display" android feature : can turn OFF "wake screen when you receive notifications"

Sorry, but turning screen off when receiving notifications is not solution of the problem. It will turn off screen for all notifications from all apps. Telegram should add an "Lock Screen notifications" button in Telegram's In-app Notifications settings for all types of chats' settings (Personal, Group, Channel chats). Like a "Vibrate", "Sound" buttons as it shown in screenshot.

Wasn't this your initial problem ?
Just keep in mind that some functionality of your android system is (surprisingly) under the control of your android system, and not under the control of telegram.

If your EMUI decides that all lockscreen notifications should wake the screen, then there's nothing telegram can do to prevent it

Oh my god. 🤯 You are writing the same thing again and again. Don't you understand what I'm saying in my previous 4 comments? I needn't to turn off my all notifications from all apps on Lock Screen just for Telegram's notifications. This problem is only with Telegram. As I showed you in my previous screenshots all other apps' notifications I can control separately which ones to show on Lock Screen or not. If only Telegram from all apps can't do that so there is problem is in Telegram, not in operating system or platform. This is a basic logic... 🤦🏻Additionally I said above that the issue is hapening on other Android phones or platforms also, not only on my phone.

Those screenshots show notificationchannels working well. Your system has issue that makes telegram app unable to delete unwanted notificationchannels, so you end up with hundreds or thousands of duplicates.
But the issue really comes from the fact that the Android developers designed notificationchannels to be immutable, which doesn't suit telegram's highly customisable notifications.
So since the app cannot edit existing notificationchannels, it must create new ones and delete old ones, every time the notification settings are changed in the app.
But in your system, the deletion is apparently not working.

You'd be surprised how many problems there are in android itself, then multiply that number by 100 for OEM skins such as EMUI and vivo/realme's skin

But okay, only telegram's peculiarity requires a functioning implementation of notificationchannels, while other apps "make do" with a broken system.

Reminder, to turn off lockscreen notifications for telegram only on a working android system, all that is needed is to click on the 4 notificationchannels and do so on each one of them. Notice at the bottom on my second screenshot in comment 6 it says "14387 categories deleted".
That's over 14000 times telegram app created new notification channels and *successfully* deleted the old ones.

Unfortunately no, but there are many telegram users with many different android phones, hopefully they have more insight on how emui works.
If no solution is found (or if it really is a telegram problem) then there's also a couple groupchats where you can find the telegram developers as well as developers of similar apps (but I'll not link them here to avoid spam)
