Today at Night, Tonight I’ll inform again what’s going on about this problem, without using Animated Stickers rather than normal Texts for chatting and let’s see If the cache is still reproduce.
Since yesterday I didn’t use Animated Sticker and so others who chat with me, Channel I followed and Group I am in also have no Animated Sticker rather than normal texts, audio files, pictures and videos. But my Animated Stickers Cache still reproduce.
4 hours after clearing the stickers cache -> 600+ MB now.
With the new premium emoji, the cache is getting even bigger.
Apparently each frame of animation, is saved as a separate file.
seriously telegram? what change did you do to break this? it works perfectly in previous version 8.x...
i dont know how to remove the need to constantly rebuild the cache everytime u clear it and make it stay not cached. i even unistalled and reinstall the app the same thing happens everytime. i even tried installing the app on another device on android 10 and same thing is happening.
Recently I've downloaded latest version of Telegram 'cause of "This message is not supported in your version of app." messages all around the channels. And now every day I see that "animated stickers" keep contagiously eat up about 500 MB of free space. I am cleaning it every damned day. And what the point? It keeps collecting this garbage every day.
Why can't I download these "animated stickers" only when I see messages with this stickers?.. And why I can't disable their automatic loading? Maybe I have poor internet connection, small traffic and small amount of free space on my device.
Let people decide if they ever want to automatically download a junk that they ever didn't seeing, dear Pavel Durov!
