Dear Facegram... Quick reactions is an annoying useless feature that just gluts the overall look and feel of the whole chat area UX/UI. Please add an option to disable that feature totally for the individual view in groups and for private chats where it is disabled totally if one of the two users disabled it. It's so damn annoying... maybe quit making a messenger a bad social media platform. Telegram gets more and more glutted with stupid features. You'd better do something regarding privacy concerns and neo-nazi groups and channels instead of adding goofy features that nobody really needs.
Yes, please provide an option to toggle the quick reaction feature off. I keep using it accidentally and really have no need for it.

Please do something about neo nazi and other extremist content on telegram. It's really hard to recommend this app that is otherwise great because of how easily it is to find groups that advocate for "accelerationism" or "volk nationalism" or whatever the dog whistle of the day is.
Some kind of acknowledgement would be great regarding this matter.
I don't think this thread will be taken seriously by the team if it discusses these issues in parallel with quick reactions. But feel free to create a separate issue and link it here - for those who are interested in expanding upon that. As for quick reactions - I often also have no idea that I've left one. And I can only see it later on when I scroll back to the message. So to me - if something keeps getting triggered by users by accident - then that's not great UX.

designers should make emoji reactions looks more neutral, techno design. Not colourful design.

It's not truth. In Russia nobody gone to jail because of this feature. You are dreamer.

Quick reactions are not bad at all, but sometimes we put react on messages accidentally and in wrong situations while scrolling, so it would be so much better to have an option to disable or enable it as user's preference, this feature is there in Telegram X app, other than this, nothing bad with quick reactions, it doesn't make ugly ui or ux at all.

Please let the users decide if they want to use quick reaction or not . 2or 3 times i used it, when i wanted to like something AND at least 100 times, when i was simply scrolling. IT IS REALLY ANNOYING

As passive aggressive as the original request is, it is a real problem with the UX - please consider implementing a switch to opt out of quick reactions. Like many people in this comment thread, there are countless times I've sent a thumbs up by accident while scrolling, sometimes on a completely inappropriate message, and I had never used it deliberately.
I think it's a bug in IOS or tg for IOS, or a hardware bug in the replaced touchscreen on my iphone, a simple scroll puts a thumbs up in chat. Switched to android - problem solved.

Many don't understand this feature request, because they think, that disable "quick reactions" means disable reactions completely.
No! Quick reactions means to set a *default* reaction by just *double tapping* *anywhere* in the chat. This constantly is done by accident, especially for left handed or disabled users.
This request is about disabling *double tap* to set a *default* reaction!
Please stop polluting this feature request with other requests! Thanks.

I never used quick reactions intentionally, it always makes me add a thumbs up unintentionally because I somehow double tapped a message. It's annoying, please add an option to disable.
