This card has been created to combine multiple suggestion cards from other users into one card. Please do not create more cards about this suggestion. Everything missing from this card can be added in comments.
Add more reaction options in private chats as well as groups and chanels, this can be done by allowing to react with any emoji or expanding the list of emojis avaiable for reaction.
It has been suggested that the following reactions should be added to the list: 😡😆😐
If your emoji is missing from the list please add it in comments. There were also multiple suggestions to allow to react with any emoji.
Allows users to confirm or deny to messages that would otherwise require a poll.
Although possible with thumbs up/down, these are often used as like/dislike and causes confusion.
Bonus points for adding a question mark ❔.
Use examples: decision making, plan meetings, get confirmation that persons performed certain tasks, replacement for any poll with yes/no(/maybe) options.
The answer is simple: we don't need extra reactions when we already have like and dislike reactions. Also, Telegram did a bad job by introducing multiple reaction to express the same feelings, like disgust or love. In conclusion, less reactions to express the same feelings and more to express others and different ones.

I suggested 😕 as a reaction. My card got deleted... Why would we need it as a reaction? It expresses that you don't like an idea (not disliking the message but the idea) or react to something like 'computer doesn't boot anymore, no video output' because it's hard to solve. You cannot dislike that message but this reaction would work and indicate that the message was not skipped.
