Hi, as of this moment it is still functioning. I don't have any problems with seeing images and playing videos in the app itself and I can save it to gallery and to downloads without any problems upon playing it on external video players or galleries. I have the 8.2.6 version of Telegram.
File system changed now in version 8.2.6. for pictures it's Pictures/Telegram. For videos it's in Movies/Telegram. And another folder is in Downloads/Telegram. Just make a folder and put all "save to gallery" "save to download" there. You may categorise it as TGmovies, TGpics, etc. as subfolders.
I am also using the 8.2.6 version but photos are not saved in gallery automatically as it used to be and l have to do "save it to gallery". Also neither documents nor the videos are saved. So the problem is still with me
Attention! Perhaps due to restrictions on Android 11 on access to the "Android - data" folders, media files from Telegram are not saved to the gallery. And these folders are opened only through a computer or explorer applications. Developers, pay attention to this. No one wants to save files separately manually and still keep them in hidden Android 11 folders. Double waste of memory.
