During a video call one participant was zoomed in, without seeing it. So basically the camera on the participants device mirrored the person showing him the full face but on the recipient device only nose and mouth were visible. The problem occured ob both cameras (front and back)
Participants phone is a pixel 3
Steps to reproduce
1.start video call from pixel 3 to pixel 2 phone
2. Enable video
3. Optionally switch front/back camera
I have this exact issue on Motorola G9 Plus.. as do other people I chat with. When someone rotates their phone the image zooms, then crops. There is no way to undo it.

The same can be reproduced on other smartphones, for example between a OnePlus 5T and 6T.
When I submitted the linked suggestion in January, it was only a minor inconvenience that kept me from finally deleting Skype from my phone. But now it has become a real problem due to this rotation bug that has been around for a while, too bad.

Also happens on Meizu Pro 5 Fairphone 4 Samsung Galaxy A6+
At one point in the video call, the video gets zoomed-in without warning, you have to 1- minimise the video of your partner by going back 1 step from the calling interface 2- take your screen in portrait mode 3- click on "return to call" to maximise again 4- the video of your partner is then "reset" to the correct zoom factor for a little while and you can go for landscape orientation if you want to do so

On Galaxy S6 called by Iphone, similar bug, the face of the person is zoomed and I can only see the eyes, it seems to come from rotation It's random but happens on most of calls, it's either very zoomed or a strip on the eyes level, I will post a screenshot from my next call
