Please add an option to switch back to the legacy Android-native interface (e.g. “Legacy Android UI mode” in Settings).
The recent redesign replaces standard Android components with custom UI, which causes noticeable performance regressions, breaks established navigation patterns (swipes, account switching), and significantly degrades accessibility (TalkBack, focus order, screen reader semantics).
A simple toggle would: – prevent churn among long-time and Premium users
– restore proper Android accessibility support
– reduce negative Google Play ratings after updates
– allow gradual adoption of the new design instead of forcing it
Many users prefer Telegram because it felt fast, native, and Android-first. Please consider keeping that option.
