A bug occurred in Telegram Stories: after posting and deleting a story, the system incorrectly counts the usage limit. Even after more than 48 hours, the ability to post new stories has not been restored, and a message appears requiring Telegram Premium. The issue occurs across multiple devices, indicating a server-side problem rather than a user or app error.
Steps to reproduce
Open Telegram and go to the Stories section.
Post a new story.
Delete the story before or shortly after it expires.
Wait more than 48 hours.
Try to post a new story.
The app shows a message that Telegram Premium is required, even though the limit should have reset.
Device info
The issue occurs on any device and platform (app and browser), so it is not device-specific.
The deletion of past stories does not impact the total number of past published stories.

Actually, that’s not entirely accurate. While deleted stories free up space for active stories, the limit on the total number of stories posted within a given time period (e.g., 24 hours) is still counted. So even if stories are deleted, the total posting limit for that period may not reset as in my opinion.
Hello, as already explained in the past comment, the deletion of past stories does not impact the total number of past published stories. So, in other words, if the ability to post new stories has not been restored, it means that you've already reached the maximum number of free stories in the entire past life of the account you are using.
This account is from 2024 for sure. And two stories is the limit? Then why is there no limit for the same profile. I understand that the maximum level may have been reached, but why is it not the same.
