Moderating large groups in Telegram is often inefficient. Reports from users easily get lost in the main chat, complaints and suggestions are mixed with normal conversations, and administrators are forced to rely on third-party bots that redirect everything to an external channel. This fragments information and slows down the moderation process.
Proposed Solution:
Create a private “Administration” section directly inside the group, visible only to administrators.
Inside this section, threads or topics would be automatically created whenever an event requires attention, for example:
When a user reports a message.
When someone sends a complaint, suggestion, or question through a dedicated button or command.
When a bot detects suspicious activity (spam, flooding, etc.).
Each thread would contain all contextual information, including the reported message, the reporting user, and moderation options.
Benefits:
Efficiency: No more switching between the group and external channels — everything stays in one place.
Organization: One thread per issue prevents confusion; resolved cases can be archived.
Context: Moderators can see the full picture and act (mute, ban, delete) from inside the thread.
Privacy: Regular members cannot see this section, which encourages honest reporting.
Additional Context:
This feature would be a natural extension of the current Topics system, but with selective visibility for admins only. It would serve as an integrated headquarters for moderation inside the group itself.
This suggestion is intended to work across all Telegram platforms, not just on Android or desktop.
