By posting this bug report I represent the community of Russian
info-business technicians facing a major issue with new Telegram in-app
browser on both Android and iOS client devices.
The background is, that Bizon365.ru webinar service is widely used among
the info-business community, and invite links to webinars are often
sent via Telegram channels and bots. Users click those invite links,
open them in the in-app browser of Telegram mobile app, finally landing
on a Bizon365.ru webinar page. A part of it is shown on the attached
screenshot. The red arrow points at a link that user should click (tap)
to start the stream in the browser.
So, the problem is, that In the in-app Telegram browser that specific
link doesn't respond to clicks and taps. It just doesn't work as
expected (doesn't work at all) and unfortunately, at the moment we're
unable to stacktrace it. Nevertheless, we can handle a webinar room for
you to test and debug the function.
Dear developers, you're free to contact me for any kind of assistance.
This is a serious problem, as Bizon365.ru can't be forced to fix this
fast on their side, while we have to face the storm of users' reports on
our client support channels and inform them that they have no other
option but to switch to their standard mobile device browser so that
they can make it to their desired video stream itself.
Steps to reproduce
Subscribe for any info-business webinar served through Bizon365.ru (we can provide a test page for that)
Get invite link via notification in Telegram channel or bot
Open link in the in-app browser
Try to tap the link "Нажмите, чтобы запустить трансляцию" (or some like "Tap to start the stream")
