I suggest adding a short-form video feed to Telegram, similar to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
Telegram is currently one of the best platforms for content creators. However, its main problem is that it is almost impossible for creators to grow their channels organically. They have to promote their content on other platforms and redirect their audiences to Telegram.
Nowadays, with Telegram blocked in Russia and many other countries, this problem has become even more serious. Even when creators promote their channels on other platforms, if a potential subscriber does not have a VPN enabled, the Telegram channel link simply will not open. It is easier for the user to leave than to turn on a VPN and return to the channel.
Adding a short-form video feed could:
a) Increase the amount of time users spend in the app;
b) Allow creators to promote their content without leaving the platform;
c) Allow viewers to subscribe to creators’ channels directly from the short-form video feed without taking any unnecessary extra steps.
Title: Add transparent, appealable credibility labels for public content
Description:
Short videos and public posts are growing fast. Users cannot easily tell scientific facts from opinions, theories, satire, AI-generated media, or unverified claims. Time is valuable, and misinformation spreads quickly.
I propose transparent, appealable credibility labels for public content only (public channels, public posts, and public short videos). Labels do not remove, block, or demote content by default. They only add context.
How it works:
1. AI may suggest a label based on public content, source links, metadata, and AI-generation signals. 2. The creator can confirm, correct, or appeal the label. 3. Independent reviewers or community notes can confirm or dispute it. 4. Users can hide labels in settings.
Private chats, secret chats, and private groups are never scanned. Only public content is eligible.

Labels could include:
· Scientific / Peer-reviewed
· Verified News / Official Source
· Opinion / Editorial
· Theory / Speculation
· Satire / Parody
· AI-generated / AI-assisted
· Unverified / Missing Source
· Human-reviewed
· Community Note
This differentiates Telegram as a privacy-first platform that helps users save time and judge authenticity without forcing an algorithmic feed.
