Unable to open image in links preview Like before. Before update i'd like to save images preview using telegram, without opening link and searching the way to extract image, but after update with new link preview logic there is issues with opening preview as other telegram media. Can you add option to choose between "open link when tapping on preview" and "open preview in image view when tapping on it"?
Steps to reproduce
Send link with image inside (like twitter post or furaffinity link)
Telegram successfully loaded preview of the link content.
Please reconsider reverting. Or just add a switch (in experimental settings at least)
This is just "dynamic sticker pack order" fiasco all over again.

If I wanted to open a link, I'd click on the link instead of clicking on the embed's image. Please add a toggle in settings. My friends and I share a lot of links in group chats, and this pseudo "feature" is very annoying.

Feel free to create a suggestion card in the platform where you describe the desired behavior.
By the way, you can temporarily get a better preview by using pinch to zoom. Which makes this whole thing really weird. Is this "intended design" implying that's the only way you must do this, and old way is "bad" and thus was removed? Really odd. But yeah, honestly this is a bug with "intended design", not something to beg to get back via suggestions/feature request.
Also this makes ip logger links much more trivial to accidentally open, which makes this a potentially security issue. Like in countries where government can check whose IP was that.

Also direct image links /do/ open the image viewer. I understand that social media previews might not be the best quality, but they are often cropped by the app (not sure if that was a thing before) and now you can't even check it out without visiting the site, unless you remember about pinch zoom.
Additionally this "not a bug" is likely causing extra bandwidth and storage usage as people will start using "copy image" and such to share the same image from a webpage instead of it being cached for the link once.

This is a terrible change!! How could it be "intended", what on earth is the intent behind it? Instead of a link generating a preview that people could glance at before continuing the conversation, now it forces you over into an entirely different program to open a browser tab for something that displayed effortlessly in-app before. Whose idea was this?!
Intentionally bad, got it. This is like when they decided making it impossible to turn off automatic sticker reordering was a good idea. Christ. What's the plan, hmm? Allow advertisers to force people to go navigate off telegram for better metrics? That's the only people I can imagine wanting this. Advertisers who aren't even paying telegram money, just piggybacking the service... Everyone else wants to view image links in app without being forced to go to ANOTHER place. The app is /painful/ to use because of this, let alone inconvenient.
And that doesn't even begin to address the collosal security risk. This is grade a phishing material. Yes please, let me scrape your login tokens and redirect you to where you thought you were going because you HAVE to open shady links now. Brilliant. -_-
Please, for the love of programmer socks, revert this disaster.
