I agree again, It should be an option, not a default setup. You gotta be able to delete spammer chats very quickly and effortlessly, but not the very important chats which may happen by accident.

The whole concept of being able to delete messages on both ends is quite debatable and while I agree that being able to remove messages within 24h (you were drunk or whatever) could be useful, being albe to remove older messages or worst, entire conversation is just plain dumb.
My SO just yesterday wanted to do something (possibly remove single message) and (as he's not very technically inclined) bam - our entire conversation is gone. 5 effin years of chats, conversation, photos and videos... I'm relly disinclined to use telegram anymore due to this retarded "feature"....
